Youssef Benomar is a Founding Partner and Head of Volatility Trading at Argentière Capital AG, an alternative investment firm with a focus on equity volatility strategies based in Zug, Switzerland. Argentière launched its first hedge fund in June 2013 and currently manages over $550mn. Prior to Argentière, Youssef was a senior member of the Volatility Arbitrage team within JP Morgan’s Global Equities Proprietary Trading Group from 2006. Youssef has over 10 years of experience trading Equity Derivatives. Prior to his time at JPMorgan, Youssef was a Senior Trader in the Equity Derivatives Group of Dresdner and before that started his career in the Equity Markets Group of Merrill Lynch. Youssef graduated from Princeton University with a Masters in Finance.
