Shavir Nagarwalla co-leads Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan’s Hedge Fund program and oversees the Hedge Fund portfolio activities in EMEA. Prior to joining OTPP, Shavir was responsible for seeding and accelerating emerging managers at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
He has also held roles as Senior HF allocator at Hilltop, Manager of Research at Quantum India Equity Fund, and Investment Manager at Vanderbilt University's Endowment Fund.
Shavir began his career with Tata Consultancy Services as a consultant to the National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange of India.
