Andrew Wong is an Advisor on Global Markets & Risk and also teaches on systemic risk at Stanford University where he is a Faculty Affiliate at the Stanford Neuroscience Institute and the Centre for Mind, Brain, and Computation. Previously he was Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Fortress Convex Strategies Group and a member of the Fortress Liquid Markets Risk Committee. Prior to joining Fortress in 2011, he was Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Artradis Fund Management in Singapore from 2004 to 2011 where he developed and managed Equity and FICC volatility and exotic/correlation portfolios. Mr Wong previously developed fixed income and equity derivative businesses for Morgan Stanley, Lehman, and UBS, in Tokyo, Hong Kong, London and Chicago, and also worked on global asset allocation and fundamental strategies. He has advised various official sector institutions on volatility and systemic risk and has been a member of the Derivatives Advisory Committee of the Singapore Exchange (SGX). He graduated with University Distinction from Stanford University focusing on econometrics, and completed graduate studies in mathematical finance at Cambridge University. Mr Wong was also a Fellow at The Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he researched macroeconomic policy and lectured on derivatives and risk.
