Christian Wuchte is an Investment Strategist at the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse (Schweiz). Christian is a voting member of the Tactical Asset Allocation Group and drives the design and implementation of discretionary overlay trades across all asset classes using derivatives. Additionally, he’s responsible for defining the funds overarching framework for risk mitigation strategies as well as for the quantitative portfolio construction process within this part of the portfolio. Since joining the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse (Schweiz), Christian has been building out the fund’s capabilities in quantitative research from the perspective of an asset allocator. He has a strong background in Python and in applying machine learning in order to identify macroeconomic regimes.
Christian earned a Masters in Mathematics in Economics with a specialization in Financial Engineering & Actuarial Sciences from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
