David Zanutto is a Partner at Mercer (located in Calgary, Canada) and is a member of Mercer’s Canadian Investments Leadership Team. After joining the firm in 1990, David initially provided actuarial consulting services to clients, before transitioning to full-time investment consulting in 1999. In 2010, David became the Canadian Director of Strategic Research for Mercer's Investments business and a member of Mercer’s Global Strategic Research Committee. David has assisted a wide variety of large institutional investors with asset-liability modeling, strategic asset allocation, risk management, portfolio structuring and general investment policy and implementation issues. David graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada in 1989. He became a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries in 1995, and a CFA charterholder in 2003.
