Jonathan Shapiro is a senior journalist for the Australian Financial Review based in Sydney. He has covered financial markets, the economy and investments at the AFR since 2009. He is based in the Sydney news-room. Prior to joining the AFR, Jonathan covered developments in the credit markets for Insto before during and after the global financial crisis. Jonathan has won several journalism awards for his coverage of private equity, bonds, hedge funds and investigative corporate reporting.
