Michael has over 22 years experience in capital markets and the alternative investment industry including over 15 years as a portfolio manager within volatility and option overlay trading strategies at banks and alternative investment managers in the US and UK. Michael has served as a member of AIMA Australia’s educational committee and is a CAIA charter holder. Prior to Milliman, Michael was the head of alternatives fund research for S&P Capital IQ in Australia. The role granted Michael the ability to research global based hedge fund, CTA and volatility managers. Michael has a Bachelor of Science, Commerce and Finance from Villanova University, Villanova in the US.
