Nadejda Rakovska is a founding partner and CEO of Volvar AM. She started at Commerzbank NY in 2001 as an equity derivatives trader before joining Lehman Brothers Investment Management Division in 2005 to set up their European volatility portfolio management. At the creation of the European quant group for Lehman Brothers IMD, she was part of the team setting up the new activity, including all aspects of such project. She then developed and implemented systematic equity and pure volatility relative value strategies seeded by Lehman, among which the first generation of the strategy currently managed within the Volvar Funds.
Nadejda Rakovska holds a business degree from ESCP Europe and a MSc in Economics and Statistics from ENSAE.
