Simon Lai is the Deputy CIO at John Lewis Partnership Pensions Trust where he oversees all investments across both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes. Prior to that Simon was a Director at Arden Asset Management (now part of Aberdeen Standard Life) focused on portfolio construction among hedge fund portfolios. Previously, he also worked at Frontier Investment Management and Bfinance. Simon holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and an MSc in Computational Science and Engineering at University of Greenwich.
