Tom Leake joined Capstone as Head of Solutions in July 2021. Prior to Capstone, Tom was a Partner at Goldman Sachs Markets division where he was the global head of the Systematic Trading Strategies (STS) business, which developed quantitative investment solutions across asset classes for pension funds, asset managers and other types of asset allocators. Tom was also previously head of Equity Structuring and Structured Sales at Deutsche Bank where he helped develop the alternative risk premia industry and worked with many of the global pension funds. Earlier in his career, Tom worked at JPMorgan as an equity derivatives structurer focused on institutional clients. In 2004, he co-founded an asset manager that launched one of the first smart beta index products.
Tom earned an MSCi in Theoretical Physics from Cambridge University in 2002.
